Dear swing dance and music lovers!
You are welcome to participate in an afternoon style party on two wheels. Hop on your grandfather’s bicycle, find yourself a stylish outfit and come join us for a ride, a dance and a picnic! Estonian Bicycle Museum traditionally participates in the fun with their awesome vintage bikes. City Bike Tallinn as our partner can rent out city bikes. Also Circus Studio Folie is taking part in the event.
Swing&Ride is all about style! The idea comes from a London-based event called The Tweed Run that was first held in 2009 and has gained world-wide popularity ever since. Relevant garments are mandatory – you are expected to wear traditional English sports attire. Think tweed! You can find inspiration here.
Swing&Ride – the style party on wheels – takes place on Sunday, September 3, 2023, beginning at 2 pm. We’ll get together at Harju kohvik (Harju tn 40A).
We’ll kick off the party in the park with dancing to swing music from 2 to 3 pm. Everyone gets a sticker confirming their participation. The sticker can be attached to clothes or the bicycle.
at 14.40 there will be a performance by the circus studio Folie on the monowheel bicycles.
The ride starts around 3 pm. All participants will follow the ride guide. Our team members – you can recognize them by hand straps – will help assure safety. Please be sure to follow their instructions!
The route:

Please take the time to check that your two-wheeled friend is fit for riding. Also, make sure to fix it up with a bell and reflectors in case you haven’t already done so! Everyone under 16 years has to wear a helmet.
We’ll push off by all means, come rain or shine. So stock up on stylish umbrellas and rain capes! Also, don’t forget to find a proper outfit according to the traditional English style or the swing era!
